Testing Process & Sample Submission

All samples are collected by the client using proper sampling techniques and supplies appropriate for the test being requested. Accurate sampling is essential to obtaining reliable laboratory results.

Testing supplies are available for purchase to support proper sample collection.

Every sample submission must include a completed Chain of Custody (CoC) form. This document ensures proper identification, handling, and tracking of samples throughout the testing process.

Separate CoC forms are available for different testing categories.

• Air Asbestos (PCM)

• Bulk Asbestos

• Mold

Once samples are collected and the Chain of Custody form is complete, samples may be submitted using one of the following methods:

Option 1: In-Person Drop-Off (Business Hours)

Samples may be dropped off at our laboratory during regular business hours.

Our laboratory staff will accept your samples and assist with submission documentation if needed.

Option 2: Secure 24/7 Drop-Box

For after-hours convenience, samples may be deposited in our secure outdoor drop-box at any time.

• Place all samples and the completed CoC form together in a sealed Ziplock bag

• The drop-box is located to the left of the main building entrance

• Samples will be processed according to the requested turnaround time

Option 3: Ship Your Samples (24/7)

Shipping samples is a convenient option for clients outside the local area or for submitting large volumes.

• Complete a Chain of Custody (CoC) Form
  Print and complete the appropriate Asbestos or Mold Chain of Custody form. This form must be included with all shipments.

• Request or Prepare Shipping

1. Clients shipping 5 or more samples may request a free prepaid FedEx or UPS shipping label using our Free Bulk Shipping Request Form

2. Clients shipping fewer than 5 samples may ship via the carrier of their choice; a shipping fee will be added to the invoice.

4. Package Your Samples
   Package all individually labeled samples and the completed CoC form securely in an appropriate shipping container.

5. Ship Your Package
   Affix the shipping label and drop the package off with the appropriate carrier.

6. Await Analysis Results
   Samples are analyzed upon receipt according to your requested turnaround time.

•Free prepaid shipping is available for shipments containing a minimum of 5 samples per shipper

•Shipping labels are provided during regular business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM)

•All prepaid shipments are sent via Priority Overnight service (delivery by 10:30 AM the next business day)

Once received, samples are analyzed by trained laboratory professionals using established analytical methods appropriate for the test requested.

Clear, easy-to-read laboratory reports are delivered promptly via email following analysis. Results provide the documentation needed to support informed next steps. We can also contact you via phone if that is your preferred method of communication. Additionally, through our Client Portal, you’ll be able to access and review your sample results online anytime, from anywhere. This provides a convenient, centralized way to track reports and maintain records for your projects.
